Calculating and entering PgMP experience in the application is a bit tricky and important to know following tips:-

1. Do not group your program management experience with project management experience. All projects and programs should be listed separately without any overlap.
2. You should have details of at least two projects for program management experience.
3. A primary contact is required for each projects in the program. You should get email and phone details of that person and also intimate them so that they can appropriate info if contacted by PMI.
4. Do not change any project management experience already shown in PMP exam.
5. You can go back to 15 years to document your project and program management experiences.
6. Break down your program management experience hours in five performance domain required to be entered in the application. It is advisable to have all data entered in Excel and properly validated so that it is just copy and paste during application filling.
